We hope you will join us on a Sunday morning for worship, or for one of our special programs. On Sunday morning, you can find Sunday School classes for adults on the lower level of our building at 9:45 a.m. During our worship service – at 8:30 or 11:00 – you will be invited to sign our attendance pads so that we know you were with us. We celebrate Communion every week at 8:30 a.m. and on the first Sunday of each month at 11:00. We believe that all are welcome at the Lord’s Table. We look forward to greeting you!
We are seeking volunteers (age 16 +) for our annual Christmas workshop on Saturday December 10 at the church. Families from the local community will attend and one of their children (Students from local elementary schools) will ‘shop’ for gifts for the family, wrap them, make a craft and take them home. The only skills necessary are a positive attitude and a generous spirit! Sign up online for a time slot.
Especially for Families with Children
Children’s Sunday School for elementary-aged children is held in September through May during the 11 a.m. service (just after Children’s Time with the pastor) with the exception of Communion Sundays (first Sunday of the month). A nursery is available for babies and toddlers on the lower level of our building from 9:30 until 12:30 each Sunday.
Confirmation Sunday on March 29, 2015 was the largest event in recent memory at Lincolnia United Methodist Church with 508 worshippers in attendance. We celebrated the confirmation of twenty-seven youth with their families and friends, church members, and other guests. Pastor Ray wishes to extend his thanks and blessings to everyone who helped make this event a great success. More photos are available.
We welcome Pastor Raymond Max-Jones to Lincolnia. Find out more about our pastor.
